Product warranty
What is a manufacturer's warranty?

All our products come with a manufacturer's guarantee. This is also known as the legal or factory warranty. The period of validity may vary: like other conditions, the period is indicated in the product description or on the invoice accompanying the product purchased, which is the same as the warranty card.

All products covered by a manufacturer's warranty are subject to the manufacturer's warranty periods.  The warranty period is 24 months. Exceptionally, a 6-month warranty is granted for the battery, unless the Buyer proves that the failure was not due to his fault.

The product is faulty or damaged What should I do?

First of all, please send us an email to the after-sales service centre at servisas@riedis.LT, with the number of the purchase document (invoice, till receipt), the buyer's name and surname, telephone number, the name of the faulty item and, if you are paying, pictures of the faulty item. Once we have received the letter, we will register the complaint and contact you about after-sales service.

The Buyer delivery deliver the goods for after-sales service at his own expense. In the event that the goods cannot be delivered to the after-sales service centre, the Buyer may deliver the potentially defective goods by courier service, and the goods must be delivered by courier only to the following address: Kalvarijų street 269, LT-08315, Vilnius, Lithuania.

I didn't receive a warranty card with the product, what should I do?

No warranty certificate* is required for goods purchased from the Riedis.Lt online shop, a cash register receipt or a VAT invoice is sufficient.

How long is the repair under warranty?

The warranty service is provided in accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Act and other relevant legislation. Please remember to keep the VAT invoice (until the end of the warranty period), which will be needed during the warranty service.

We would like to point out that each warranty repair case is individual and its duration depends on many factors: the model of the product, the type of fault, the availability of spare parts on the market. It normally takes between 1 day and 3 weeks from the date the product is handed over to the after-sales service to rectify a fault caused by the manufacturer. If the repair requires a part to be shipped from abroad, the waiting period is extended to 45 days.

How long is the item stored after the warranty repair?

Goods not collected from the Warranty Service Centre and/or from the Seller and handed over for warranty servicing are stored for 1 (one) month. This period starts from the first notification to the Buyer via the contacts indicated by the Buyer (telephone, e-mail, etc.) that the Buyer can collect the goods after they have been returned from the after-sales service centre. If the Buyer fails to collect the Goods within the time limit, the Seller shall have the right to discontinue storage of the Goods and the Goods may be disposed of. In such case, the Seller shall not be liable for the Buyer's information remaining in the unclaimed goods and any other losses incurred by the Buyer as a result of such destruction.

When is the manufacturer's warranty not covered?

The buyer loses the right to warranty repairs if:

• The goods have mechanical damage caused by the user, including the effects of natural disasters such as lightning, fire, flood, etc. They also include cases where foreign objects, liquids and insects enter the appliance.

• Damage to the goods caused by improper installation, transport or storage, or if the requirements set out in the User's Guide have been violated during operation.

• The use of unsuitable power supplies, accessories and spare parts, as well as consumables (brake fluid, tyres, inner tubes, pads, cables, cleaners, etc.) not certified by the manufacturer and the use of which has caused the damage to the device during operation.

• The use of incorrect or pirated software that affects the software of the electric vehicle.

• The equipment has not been properly serviced (only in cases where this service is necessary).

• If the serial number of the product has been erased, altered or illegible.

Warranty obligations only apply if the conditions of use of the product, as specified in the instructions for use, have not been violated. To avoid any misunderstandings, we strongly urge you to read the product's operating instructions carefully.

The Riedis.lt team points out that the consumer has the right to contact Lutex UAB within 2 (two) years from the date of receipt of the non-conforming goods by e-mail to labas@riedis.lt

What is the difference between manufacturer's warranties for natural and legal persons?

Individuals and legal entities are covered by a manufacturer's warranty, which has different terms and conditions due to the different intensity of use of the item. The manufacturer's warranty is valid for 24 months for natural persons and 12 months for legal persons.
